The gloomy days are behind us, and sunshine is returning to the world, not a moment too soon either, seeing as it is the end of April. Together with the beautiful sunshine, we also get a day off. This weekend will be Easter weekend, and that means three days instead of two, and we return to work only on Tuesday.

Pediatric dental care begins at birth. While the teeth do not come in until around 6 to 12 months, tooth buds are already present below the gums, still housed in the yet developing jawbone and alveolus. But brushing the gums is helpful, as it will regulate the pH of the baby’s mouth, and get them used to the idea that mom or dad is going to be poking around in there at least twice a day.
Pregnancy is one of the happiest times in a mother’s life. Soon to be moms tend to read everything about child and infant care, pregnancy, breast feeding and anything relating to the topic, especially if they are pregnant with their first child, which is understandable; they are entering into new and uncharted territories.
